Welcome to the business world. My name is Kim-Gia Nguyen, and I study Business Management and Marketing. This program fits me well because I want to be an entrepreneur. My years in Cegep are almost done and I have a year left before starting my business plan. In this glossary, people will learn important keywords about business and sales. You will learn how to use the word in a sentence, you see an image, some examples, etc. All definitions and words are verified by Wikipedia and Google. With these words, it will help you with your first step in the business world.

- Example: To say an ADVERTISEMENT has an advertising function begs many questions. Some ADVERTISEMENTs may inform, others persuade, cajole, frighten, shock, worry, arouse.

- Example: Also included are resources, both public and private, which can help any BUSINESS to create and implement their own workplace violence procedure.

- A person or company that makes goods for sale.
- Example: For example, a MANUFACTURER of upholstery fabric may want to know how well his cloth wears, so he gives a certain piece of the cloth a standardized "rubbing" test to see how many rubs it can stand before wearing through. If the MANUFACTURER did this test on every yard of cloth he made he would be left with only worn - out cloth for sale.
